VB Week That Was 2010
This is the first part of the third Week that Was
SHAKE OUT
It was another week of upsets, plus the first big tournaments. The biggest tournament came at Marshall in the SW Challenge with three #1s and six of the top 10 AAA teams. With this loaded field #1AAA Lakeville North came through the brutal top half of the brackets with ranked wins over #1A Minneota, #3AAA Wayzata, and #10AA LeSueur-Henderson. Other huge tournaments included the Aerie Challenge in Apple Valley---won by the hosts ranked #5 in AAA, Shakopee won by #2AA Jackson County Central; and Mankato West----won by #9A Windom to name a few.

The second week had more teams in action. There are only a handful now that have not played. The preseason polls have taken a hit. Six of the top 10 AAA teams have fallen with #3 Eastview dropping two contests---one of which was to unranked, but three time defending champ Shakopee.
