ERA only had one set where they got to double digits. Lakshitha in the first set at third singles got to ten. ERA has eleven players and could field an entire lineup (by passing at least three schools in that category).

This marked the second straight match I have charted M&S. Returning to her top spot is Akua Yeboah. She controlled the match with a side out percentage of 63% and racked up 28 winners to 3 for Sousha in her first outing. Yeboah took advantage of high birds given to her and kept her returns, for the most part, closer to the net. Her favorite winner today was the smash. The rallies tended to go a bit longer with Sousha’s stroke point up to 4.067. Most of the points lived in the sweet spot of strokes three & four. Yeboah also had six runs for the day, holding Sousha to only one such string.

Sousha had first serve in the first set and led 2-1 after a five stroke clear on her second service. But service points were hard to come by. Yeboah got the bird back on a four stroke clear and then started her first run. A nine point run on Yeboah’s fifth service gave her a commanding 19-5 lead. Seven of those points came on winners, three of which were smashes.

In set two there was an early tie at two and three. Then Yeboah initiated her first run of that set with five points followed by another run of six on her fourth service. Sousha made use of three errors for her only run which took the score to 16-8. A four stroke drive gave the bird back to Yeboah and she never let go.

Category

YEBOAH

SOUSHA

Side out

7/11-.636

2/12-.167

Longest side out string

3

1

3+ Runs

6

1

Longest point string

9

3

SERVING

Service points

31

5

Serving %

40/41-.976

12/16-.750

Serve Point %

.756

.313

POINTS

Overall points

42

15

Points after 11

20

6

Points after own errors

8

2

Winners after errors

4

0

STROKES

Strokes

147

61

Strokes per point

3.500

4.067

5+ rallies

7

4

2- rallies

10

2

WINNERS

28

3

Aces

2

0

Blocks

0

0

Clears

5

2

Drives

7

0

Drops

5

0

Soft drives

1

1

Smashes

8

0

ERRORS

12

14

Deep

0

0

Net

7

6

Wide

4

4

Serve

1

4

Largest Lead

14

1

W:E Ratio

2.333

0.214

Margin

13.500

Set Point %

2/2-1.000

Time

14:03

MATH &
