The last was Gao Lee from 2012. The #3 seed senior pair of Julia Bowron and Emma Clift of Central got revenge twice on Thursday. First they downed #2 seed Burnsville (Ashley Briese and Corrina Benson) in a three set thriller. They trailed after one set 11-21. They took the next two 21-18 and then on to extra points 22-20. Earlier in the year the Central pair fell to the Blaze in three sets. In the title game they brought down the undefeated #1 seed from Johnson (Ashley Her \/ Birdy Xiong).
