Actually, #1 Minneota lost to\nBrandon Valley of suburban Sioux Falls the week before. Grand Meadow fell to a\npotential 1A semifinalist&#8212;-defending A champ Lyle-Pacelli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AAAA: 1 Hopkins <br>\nAAA: none<br>\nAA: 2 Eden Valley-Watkins; Medford<br>\nA: 2 Hills-Beaver Creek; Stephen-Argyle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How many will remain unbeaten come March? My crystal ball says a possible three\nget to state, my money would be more on two. Only one has a strong chance to\nwin it all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>STREAKING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A log jam in AAA. A new leader in A.<strong><br> <\/strong>AAAA: 25 Hopkins<br> AAA: 13 Hibbing, Red Wing, St. Paul Como Park, Waseca<br> AA: 23 Eden Valley-Watkins <br> A: 22 Stephen-Argyle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those of you wondering how in the world Wayzata can be ahead of Hopkins\nin the QRF when Hopkins, who is undefeated and beat Wayzata head to head\u2026..Simple.\nHopkins (and anyone else that plays out of state competition) does not have those\nresults reflected in the scores. Hopkins just beat an undefeated and defending\nstate champion from Wisconsin. Nothing. Not even crickets. Hopkins has 3 such\nwins this year. Wayzata has stayed within the confines of the borders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THE FLIP SIDE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not a change here. The clock is ticking closer to midnight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AAAA: 1 Rochester Century<br>\nAAA: none<br>\nAA: none<br>\nA: 3 Laporte, Renville County West, St. John\u2019s Prep<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ME &amp; QRF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I try to see all the 64 AAAA teams + the top 100 teams according to the QRF\npoll. I have two to see of AAAA teams to complete the list&#8212;-and only this\nweek to get it done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Big Lake &amp; Monticello on Monday; Totino-Grace &amp; Spring Lake Park on\nWednesday; and finally, the elusive Hibbing when they traveled to Deer River on\nFriday. Those five cut my total to see to down to six with one regular season\nweek, two playoff weeks and a state week left on the menu. I could whittle away\nthis week with a possible one. The big fish this week is the AAAA completion.
