NEW PRAGUE 68, NORTHFIELD 31<\/p>\n

Two former Missota Conference members and current 1AAAA rivals met on Monday night in New Prague and it was the hometown Trojans putting running time on the Raiders of Northfield 68-31. This game was never in doubt. It was 13-0 for NP after four and a half minutes zipped by. Also zipping by were two Northfield time outs that did not slow NP\u2019s momentum. Even two early fouls by NP\u2019s Emily Russo were handled with aplomb. With 4:35 left in the first half NP had enough in the bank to win the contest. At halftime it was 43-18.<\/p>\n

The big story of the day was the lack of cooperation from my computer. I had to revert to 2005 mode of game entry (pen & paper) for the first half. I got some battery life back at half time. But then the screen went dark halfway through the second half. The information that was unsaved disappeared forever. After I got home, I had to translate my pen and paper back to code. That was an unfortunate delay of time. When I attend these games, I usually access a power source. But for a one off game I can fly without power—-usually. It was odd I could not get anything going at the start of the game. I don\u2019t know if we need to give last rites to the old machine, but it is approaching the big chip maker in the sky soon.<\/p>\n

This completes my 1AAAA checklist, the first to get completed in AAAA. The only other section to be finished is 7AAA.<\/p>\n

The below stats need to be taken with a grain of salt. There were about two minutes of action that vanished due to battery issues with my ancient computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
