That means if a player is #2 the other player from the same school can not be #7 for example. The only time two teams will meet is in either the championship or third place contest.

Action will be at Edina High School on Thursday.

SINGLES

Cinderella Nwe, Washington

HaNeul Jeong-McDonell, Highland Park

Yeng Lai Thao, Johnson

Kanlaya Thao, Harding

Maddie Blackbourn, Burnsville

Pa Nra Lee, Como Park

Rain Htoo, Washington

Sunshine Vang, Highland Park

Nicharee Lee, Johnson

Zadie H, Central

DOUBLES

Ashley Her/Birdy Xiong, Johnson

Abby Briese/Corrina Benson, Burnsville

Julia Bowron/ Emma Clift, Central

Dun Htoo/Cho Cho Oo, Washington

Kimberly Tobar / Ana Xiong, Harding

Hope Moua/ Faith Moua, Johnson

Lah Shar/ Gay Nee, Como Park

Norah Kennedy / Ella Zawoyski, Edina

Lisa Genis / Leah Merid, Burnsville

Ariel Fang / Paw Eh Soo, Washington

Below is the game flow at Edina. The bold caps indicate the round. When you see 430 or 500 it means 4:30 pm or 5 pm. It is just a marker for where we could be. It is not locked in times. Some matches may go quickly, and a “500” match might start earlier. That is at least the hope.

Schools should pay attention to the matches out and when they play next. The only givens are the first flight out with court locations. Match 14 could be on any of the courts. They will be the next game out once the first complete game is over.

The first number you see is the match number. There will be 96 total matches.

You will see the school and the 1 or 2 meaning first or second singles/doubles depending on the event. Then you will see a court assignment only for the first 13 matches. Then you will see a W to #. That means the winner moves on to that # match. Once a player loses, their state tournament is complete.

There are six potential rounds. The estimated start time for the championships / third place round is 9 pm. Again it could be earlier than that.

questions? kja8067@gmail.com

2022 GAME FLOW THURSDAY

SINGLES FIRST ROUND TOP HALF

430

1 Tartan 1 v Southwest 2, court 1 W to 33

2 Math &
