FIRST DOUBLES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ivy Peterson \/ Sanna Coma 2, Kasey \/ Alisa 0 (21-5, 21-7)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The current #1 pair from Edina held Harding to 12 total points across two sets in a 11 minute victory on Wednesday. This is the Knights fourth combination at the one spot. The Hornets held the Knights scoreless on the five service attempts in the first set, and only allowed one point when Harding was serving in the second set. With a lack of scoring on serves, that dried up any run potential. The winners were a lopsided 30-6 affair with Ivy Peterson reaching ten smashes. Peterson was the\u00a0 catalyst in the first set on serve with 16 points. The script was flipped in the second set with Sanna Coma enjoying three runs and 13 service points.<\/p>\n

My best guess is during the individual singles \/ doubles portion of the state tournament Harding will return to a pair used earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The pattern with Edina from the Burnsville Triangular held to form. If opponents delivered the bird to the upper right it was dealt with severely. Peterson\u2019s kill % hit close to .500 from that location. Coma best spot was also the right with a .273 kill %. The Harding pair were underwater in all six spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
