This too me is concerning. Especially the AAAA level where the pair could not get to 70. Both were beneath their team’s pp100. Obviously, they are doing quite a bit to get to 31, but their effectiveness can be sooo much better. Decision making/turnovers is one example. When you are a point guard (both are) and turning it over every 10.88 or 10.14 touches that requires remediation.

In the olden days, when I named a player of the week, the requirements to be considered were clearing the bar on numbers, with a pp100 of 100 or better, and a floor % of .500 or better. In this case the only two under consideration would be Lawrence and Martin and both their teams lost yesterday. I need consistency. Even on the biggest stage with the brightest spotlights.

The three teams that were centurion level are in the finals (Hopkins) or are favored in the A Semis Friday.

DAY AHEAD

A & AA Semis.
