Jordan was missing the services of St. Thomas bound Morgan Staloch, out due to a concussion suffered in the Marshall game. Despite missing her services (she was the primary ball handler in the overtime loss to Richfield in December), the Jags led the hosts 19-13 at about the nine minute mark. The first time the Rebels held the lead since the first two minutes of the game, came on a triple by Baya Taylor 32-31 with about 1:45 left in the half. In the last nine possessions of the first half both teams were on fire scoring on eight of those chances. Olivia Robinson of Jordan tied it at 38 with 1.5 ticks to go in the half on a put back, but she missed the opportunity to add to the lead missing the &1.

CP opened the second half with a 12-4 spurt including a scoring string of three straight possessions. The Rebels made use of the inside game of Reese Hagenbart who had six of those points. She led all scorers with 22 points. CP was making use of their second chance opportunities as they scored eleven of their 35 second half points. For the night CP’s offensive rebound percentage was a healthy 46.2% compared to Jordan’s 24.32%. CP also doubled up Jordan on points off 3s 18-9.

There were plenty of fouls which led to plenty of free throws. One CP player fouled out with one close with four. Jordan only had one player with four.

Team

Pt

PP100

OR/DR

FTM/a

2M/A

3M/A

TO/TOTO

Champlin Parak

75

100.00

18/28

15/22

21/48

6/13

18/17.39

Jordan

66

88.0

9/21

19/25

19/42

3/12

18/19.44

There was only one addition to the 31 Club last night and that was Hagenbart. Just missing out of the 31 Club by one was CP point guard Brooke Soash. She was aggressive to the lane almost matching the paint touches of Hagenbart 21-19.

For Jordan it was Jordan Staloch that was their closest player to miss out with a 28.
