The Governors swept both suburban teams. In the first contest against EP they were pushed to three sets at second singles. In the second contest against the hosts, the three set push came at second and third doubles. In the final match of the day visiting EP beat the Hornets 5-2. The Eagles won all four singles and first doubles.<\/p>\n<p>As for the action at first singles there were some counting issues both involving the first set for both Johnson games. I had a 21-20 score for #1 Nou Chee Yang over #8 Ashley Nelson; on the court they had 21-19 for Yang. The second match I had #9 Mia Coma up 21-18 as they kept playing. When they stopped I still had Coma up 21-19. There were no counting problems in either second set or in the final match of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a comparison of the winners for each.
