2024 Badminton Poll #3

We are almost done with rolling spring break. Last week it was Minneapolis and assorted schools, this week St. Paul is off.

The big news last week was the Edina Invitational was back on after being on hiatus for four years. Edina won the team portion, took two of the singles golds (2nd and 3rd) and two of the doubles gold (1st and 2nd). Phlower Vang of Highland Park is still number one in singles and has not lost yet this year. There are a smattering of players still unblemished, but in the St. Paul world and Suburban schools, she is the only one singles or doubles still without a loss.

The St. Paul race is a race with three schools jumbled up top with a pair of losses. The Capitol City has already completed the first round and has already moved on to the second segment of the schedule. Minneapolis has barely scratched the surface. Three schools of the 28 have not started their season yet. And I have charted 19 (68%) of the schools. Nine more to go. I should be able to wrap that up in the next two weeks.
