Seeding the State 2019: Week #8

There are some seismic shifts in class A. That is how things work

when I get to actually chart teams. Relatively stable in the other classes.

AAAA
1. Hopkins (6)
2. Stillwater (4)
3. Farmington (1)
4. Eastview (3)
5. St. Michael-Albertville (8)
6. Roseville (5)
7. Eden Prairie (2)
8. Forest Lake (7)

AAA
1. Alexandria (8)
2. Hill-Murray (4)
4. Red Wing (1)
5. Holy Angels (3)
6. Cooper (6)
3. Waseca (2)
7. Willmar (5)
8. Grand Rapids (7)

AA
1. Sauk Centre (6)
2. Roseau (8)
3. Minnehaha (4)
4. Eden Valley-Watkins (3)
5. Holy Family (5)
6. Rochester Lourdes (1)
7. Medford (2)
8. Esko (7)

A
1. Minneota (3)
2. Menahga (5)
3. Goodhue (1)
4. Pelican Rapids (6)
5. Mountain Iron-Buhl (7)
6. Heritage Christian (4)
7. Stephen-Argyle (8)
8. BOLD (2)

FYI I am at 100% of AAAA, 75% of AAA; 50% of AA; and now 25% in A.

UNBEATENS: A Dazzling Dozen
Foley, Hawley, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial in AA & Lac Qui Parle Valley in A left the unbeaten ranks leaving a dozen.

AAAA: 3 Farmington, Hopkins, Wayzata
AAA: 1 Alexandria
AA: 2 Eden Valley-Watkins; Medford
A: 6 Grand Meadow; Hills-Beaver Creek; Menahga; Minneota; Parkers Prairie; Stephen-Argyle

How many will remain unbeaten come March? 3A has the most teams left with two. I could see undefeated champs in AAAA & AAA, maybe A (increasingly doubtful), not in AA.

STREAKING
AAAA: 14 Wayzata
AAA: 12 Alexandria
AA: 12 Eden Valley-Watkins, Medford
A: 15 Grand Meadow, Hills-Beaver Creek

How many of these become state champs? My odds are 17%.
