Seeding the State: Week 9

There seems to be some confusion on this list. This is a list of

projected section winners and how they would be seeded heading into a state tournament. That is why some familiar names are not on the list. Another school in that section is ahead of them.

The number in brackets is their section.

UNBEATENS: Eleventh Heaven
With Alexandria off the table we are down to 11.

AAAA: 3 Farmington, Hopkins, Wayzata
AAA: none
AA: 2 Eden Valley-Watkins; Medford
A: 6 Grand Meadow; Hills-Beaver Creek; Menahga; Minneota; Parkers Prairie; Stephen-Argyle

How many will remain unbeaten come March? Section 3A has the most teams left with two (HBC/Minneota). Only one will survive possibly getting to state. The best shot still is AAAA. AAA bit the dust last week.

STREAKING
AAAA: 16 Wayzata, Hopkins
AAA: 9 Waseca
AA: 15 Eden Valley-Watkins
A: 16 Grand Meadow, Hills-Beaver Creek

FYI Wayzata is at Hopkins in their first of a potential three meetings Friday February 1 at Hopkins.

THE FLIP SIDE

Here are teams searching for first wins—–a six pack

AAAA: 1 Rochester Century

ME & QRF

I try to see all the 64 AAAA teams + the top 100 teams according to the QRF poll. I need six more AAAA teams to complete the list. I need 23 more for 100. It gets hard when my Tuesdays and Fridays are already booked.

1-10 100%
1-25 100%
1-50 92%
1-75 86.7%
1-100 77%
