Host Trinity swept visiting Community of Peace quickly on Thursday afternoon. The Tri-Hawks, in the potential 14 sets, only allowed the Tigers to get to double digits three times. The closest COP came to Trinity in any set came at first doubles in the second set when La & Youa got to 18 in their loss to Julia Williams and Margaret Ryan.
I now have one more team to check off my list of 27—–Hiawatha.

Maggie Kocon scored on eight of her nine services and prevented Emily from scoring on eight of her ten services. That side out game combined with the winner advantage of 24-3 cemented this win. The rallies tended to be quick with only one seven stroke point, the final point of the first set going long. Kocon experimented with shots. She had opportunities to smash but passed them up to polish up other aspects of her arsenal.
This game had disappearing points and shifting points. Strangely the point totals for Kocon all came out to 42. I had 20 in the first set and 22 in the second. The shift in the first set had Kocon going from 4-2 to 6-2; in the second set her lead went backward from 18-3 to 17-5. This only impacted the final margin.
