TOUR OF THE STATE
AAA
Marshall 75, #2AAA Alexandria 70. Revenge for the AAA volleyball title two weeks ago. The schedule does no favors for Alex. The turnaround for them on Saturday is in the second slot at Southwest Christian against #3AAA Stewartville.
#7AAA Totino-Grace 70, St. Croix Lutheran 55. This is where I was on Friday night. Ava Litecky racked up 32 points for TG getting into the 31 Club just on points alone. She had 20 by half including 4/4 from 3 at that stage.
The host Eagles spoiled Danica Cambrice’s coaching debut. The 2016 Crusader graduate went to St. Catherine’s. SCL was hampered by fouls early on. Amaya Penn picked up three fouls quickly forcing the Crusaders to dip into the bench. At one point SCL was dancing with three players with four fouls. The TG lead was close to 19 in the second half, but SCL did cut the margin to seven with less than three minutes left.
AA
#5AA New London-Spicer 77, Morris 43
A
#3A Mayer Lutheran 68, Hayfield 47
#7A Breckenridge 70, Perham 44
#10A Central MN Christian 60, Montevideo 43
