WEEK AHEAD
There are 21 games today. The best available contest might be Marshall traveling to Willmar.
For the rest of the short(?) week fans can work off that Turkey on Friday and Saturday with multiple events.
The Pat Patterson Event is hosted by Hamline with seven games each day.
Once upon a time St. Thomas hosted a Catholic event with the Thanksgiving Tip-Off. With the move to D1 status they had to relinquish the event. It still had a St. Thomas feel—albeit at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights—-odd since that is an exclusive male institution. Now this event has moved to the new facilities at White Bear Lake. They will have two courts with nine contests on Friday. Two Iowa schools will still take part. Six of the 18 teams still have Catholic connections.
Both Hamline & WBL will feature some teams that made their debut last weekend at the Breakdown Tip Off.
