SECTION RESULTS

Three ranked teams in action on Monday advanced. All were the #1 seeds in 1AA, 1A and 2A. #5AA ranked Caledonia, #1A Goodhue, and #5A Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s were in running time territory in each of their respective wins.

The upsets were of the #9 over #8 variety with St. Clair topping #8 Maple River in 2AA by eleven. In 2A it was United South Christian edging #8 Nicollet 46-44. All other better ranked seeds won out.
