There were eleven schools in action on Friday.

Totals: 91 points, 4-1

53 players have made the D1 High Five lists this year with Frost and Hall joining on Friday. Olson is now in a four way tie for the lead with five entries along with Nunu Agaram, Liv McGill, and Tori McKinney.

AAAA & AAA each had two entries with AA one.

Three made the state with Olson the only state championship.

D2

There were 16 schools in action on Friday.

There are now 26 players that have made the D2 High Five lists. Anna Vaaler now has three entries which ties her with Taryn Hamling. Moorjani and Steele are the new entries.

Three are AAAA players, two are AAA.

All five made the state with Haack winning a title.

Nine ranked teams were in action Friday all in the smaller classes. Two ranked teams were knocked off.

There will be no game recaps due to my schedule. I did see the contests at Mayer Lutheran on Friday night and I will do an extremely brief recap of all the weekend action on Sunday.

MILESTONE

Senior Emma Thein of MACCRAY reached the 1000 point mark with 11 points in a win over Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Friday.

DAY AHEAD

There will be 16 games at Southwest Christian in Chaska as the Breakdown Tip Off starts the event season with a bang. 26 ranked teams will be in the house on two courts. The epic feature game will be on the main court with #1AAAA Hopkins taking on #1AA Providence at 5:30. The Royals lost to the Lions last year and will be looking to knock them off a 45 game win streak.
