Some upsets lead to shifts. AAA has the most volatility all year and
will continue to do so. That probably means a wide open field for a state title. For the third straight week there is a different #1. Sometimes the gap between 1 & 2 is a mile long. Sometimes the gap between 1 & 8 is an inch. Such is the case in AAA. There is still plenty of time left.

I try to see all the 64 AAAA teams + the top 100 teams according to the QRF poll. I need a trio of AAAA teams to complete the list. I need 22 more for 100. That means I only improved for the entire week by one lonely team. I did improve in the top 50 (up 2%), and 75 (up 2.6%).
