The MSHSL has reshuffled the sections for the next two seasons beginning in 2025-2026. There are some significant changes, but mostly minor tweaks. As for major moves….8AAAA has three section winners from 2025 (Brainerd, Alexandria-from 8AAA; Monticello-from 5AAA). Goodhue is bumped back up into AA. NRHEG moves from 2AA to 1A.

So here is the first preliminary look at seeding the state 2026 style. This will obviously change with player and coaching movements which are already underfoot.
