Here is the final individual poll. Some of the seeds had to be modified due to the parameters involved in the state tournament….for example no school will face an opponent from the same school until the semifinal round. That complicates some placements to avoid that scenario.
Gao Zhia Vue of Harding is at the top in singles with a St. Paul City title to back it up.
Daisy Hennington-Hoff and Ella Burke of Edina have been ranked number one all year in doubles. They have not lost.
The individual tournament will begin on Thursday afternoon at Edina. There is no charge for admission. A player will need to win six contests to be crowned champion. Action should start as close to 4:15 as possible. The estimated championship could begin as early as 8:30 but will probably be closer to 9:00.
