BURNSVILLE 7, TRINITY 0
Even indoor sports get hit by weather. With school cancelled in Minneapolis and St. Paul, the badminton schedule took a hit. School went on, albeit delayed, at Burnsville and they hosted newcomer #19 Trinity. Washburn was to have joined the pair, but the Millers were sidelined by no school in Minneapolis. So, a Triangular became a dual and the #6 Blaze were on fire as they swept Trinity. The Blaze held Trinity to single digits in 11 of the 15 sets. There was one match that went the distance—-first doubles. Doubles is where Trinity had the most success. Four times Trinity reached double digits with Bekah Bittner and Maria Kisch winning the second set at first doubles, the lone set win for the Falcons.
