Junior Izabelle Keaveny of Mayer Lutheran vs. West Lutheran on Friday. Earlier this year twin sister Clara made it to the milestone.

QUEST FOR..

THE QRF

Despite my car rebelling and forcing me to miss some games early in the week I was able to improve on four of the five categories with 1-50 staying the same.

1-10 10/10-1.000

1-20 19/20-.950

1-30 26/30-.867

1-40 33/40-.825

1-50 39/50-.780

Biggest fish left to fry…. still Marshall, this week at #19. They are due to be checklisted next week.

TOP 10s

A slip in A brings my average down to .700.

AAAA 10/10-1.000

AAA 9/10-.900   missing Marshall

AA 6/10-.600

A 3/10-.300

Overall that is 28/40 or .700

#1s EACH SECTION

Lost one in AAAA; gained one in AAA; lost another in A meaning I slipped to .568 overall.

AAAA 7/8—.875 Owatonna is now in front in section 1.

AAA 6/8-.750

AA 4/9-.444 (section 3AA is split)

A 4/12-.333 (splits in 3, 5, 6, 8)

Overall, 21/37 or .568.

SEEDING THE STATE

Two new #1s in AAAA and AAA. Adjustments in AAAA now that Hopkins lost to Wayzata at home on Tuesday. EP is back and full force and that impacts their return. Benilde is too hot right now not to be on the list and not to be in the top spot. I know they lost to Orono. That rematch comes on Thursday at Orono. The only change in AA is in section 2, the most wide open of any section in that class. Just some rearrangements in A, no new faces.

We dip our toes into February on Saturday. Tuesday is the workhorse of the week (again) with 153 games. Friday edges out Thursday 105-102. Saturday has the Breakdown Community Clash with ten games held at a trio of sites: Becker; Delano and St. Michael-Albertville. The ranked AAAA teams will be at STMA. Other ranked on ranked action that day will include Minnehaha at Crosby-Ironton. The conference races are heating up. The march to March is beginning.
